Practice Tests for Surveyors

Our goal is to create practice tests to help would be surveyors prepare for their licensure exams. We have done our best to make these practice tests into a resource you can return to again and again should you wish. We try to have at least two versions of each test, one a close facsimile of the actual test, and the another with randomized questions.

What Happens when You Purchase a Test?

Recieving the Test

When you purchase a test you should receive an email from our automated system within the next several hours.

Note: Due to using an automated system this email is sometimes flagged as spam. Make sure to check your spam folder.

If you have not received this email within 24 hours please send us an email at info@confluencelandsurveying.com informing us.

Accessing the Test

Once the code is received make an account with the testing service Classmarker to access the test and it’s different versions - allowing you to store your scores and review results.

All tests include a welcome message filled with other helpful (free!) resources we recommend for your studying.

Scrolling past these resources you will see the test versions at the very bottom

Taking the Test

When you begin the test you will see Instructions including:

  • the total number of questions

  • whether you must finish it in one sitting (for example in the Timed version)

  • other test settings

The practice tests are all online with one question showing at a time. You do not have to answer the question to proceed to the next. At any time you can access the Question List in the top corner to jump to any question you’d like.

You can also bookmark questions that you want to return to later. These will appear next to the Question List as well as in the results once the test is complete.

Reviewing the Test

Depending on the Test Version detailed explanations for questions are presented for each one as you go or all at the end when the test is marked complete.

Once you have completed a test you will see your:

  • total percentage and correct/incorrect

  • statistics by category

  • questions with correct answers and explanation sorted by which you got correct and incorrect

  • any bookmarked questions

You can access this information again by scrolling to test versions and selecting Results.

Retaking the Test

Every test has Unlimited Retakes.

Once you retake a test version any past scores will appear under ‘Show previous scores’. Note that a detailed breakdown by section is only available for the most recent test attempt.
